HEFO conducted a consultation workshop for site visits and assessments in Berbera as part of the RAAISE PROJECT (EU FUNDED ILED PROGRAM) in Somaliland. The purpose of the workshop was to improve the quality control measures of landing sites, fish markets, and processing facilities, with the goal of ensuring that fish products meet high standards of safety, hygiene, and quality throughout the supply chain. Participants included fishery operators, ministry staff, processors, and local government representatives, who contributed their knowledge and assisted in the improvement of quality control measures.
